Defining when youth ends is overshadowed by David choosing songs that have propelled a star (or a nobody) to superstardom. Sue doesn’t quite understand the concept of taking stardom to the next level. Luckily, Chris Jameson of The C + C Drive Factory and JOY’s music director is on hand to help her out.

David’s interest in these iconic songs started because this week is the 25^th anniversary of The Horses reaching No. 1 on the Australian charts. That song propelled Daryl Braithwaite from fame as a member of Sherbet to a whole new level as a solo performer.

Sue tries to compile a Top 10 Star-Propelling Hits list but, as listeners suggestions get added to the list then crossed off as new contenders emerge, a Top 40 might have been easier! Way too many nominations to play in the final hour. But at 6pm it is The Horses that starts us off.
