Is our freedom of speech being impeded? Liberal Senator Cory Bernardi seems to believe so, and has sworn to take action with a bill to water down the Racial Discrimination Act.

And despite key election promises from the PM and the Attorney-General, the Coalition-driven plebiscite is likely to be pushed back to February next year. Approval for the costly opinion poll continues to drop, especially in the LGBTIA+ community.
