WHAT WE HAVE SEEN LATELY ?

FILM : SONG FOR MARION : This was a good Mothers Day movie, but be warned, it is so very sad/moving etc that it merited 3 handkerchiefs from me. But that said me & D and Mum all loved it. Vanessa Redgrave plays a woman dying from cancer, and her big love in life is the senior citizens choir she goes to. She wants to make it to their big concert and also to get her husband involved in the choir. Naturally, it doesn’t all go well, and it is a heartbreaking journey that we all go on with her and Terrence Stamp, who plays her husband.
