Welcome to my Touch Of Pink blog page. I’m starting to get the hang of this 1-hour show, so this week I’ve picked quite a few gays, and a few divaz, so you know where my taste is at.

Single Of The Week is “Exit” from MAOR, a nice gay lad from NYC. A catchy song, and a pretty average dancer, but we won’t hold that against him. Gotta support our own !!!

What Have I Seen ThIs Week ?

Comedy Festival: Craig Hill: Starting off doing ‘I just wanna effing dance” twirling in a lovely denim kilt, Craig was very foul and very funny. The act seems very spontaneous, but who knows, perhaps it was very scripted. Nevertheless we laughed our collective ti*ts off all the way through. 4 out of 5

Comedy Festival: The Man With Tape On His Face: More Tape: A friend suggested this an it turned out to be a good choice. As the title suggests, there are no vocals, but the show is mainly physical comedy, with a lot of help from the audience. But don’t be afraid, the humour is very good natured and the scenarios very clever. Another great show. 4 out of 5

Film: The Grand Budapest Hotel: This is a wild romp of a film. It starts off at a fast pace and just gets more manic as the plot unfolds, about the death of a hotel resident, and the search for a stolen painting. It is a very stylised production with a cast of hundreds, all excellent. 4 out of 5
