Welcome to A Touch Of Pink, and my 500^th Show on air. This is your home for all that is fun and a little bit gay in the world of trash pop music. Tonight we have lots of new stuff including newies from gay atists Jason Walker, Erasure and Holly Johnson (ex FGTH). Plus Yoko Ono, Take That, Corona and Cascada have new songs. How exciting is that? OK not very, but I’m trying to talk this up, girls and boys.

My Single Of The Week is ‘About you now’ by Shayne Ward. He is quite a cute UK singer (see above) with moderate success so far, but a new album “Closer” produced by Mike Stock (from Stock Aitken Waterman) is due soon and will hopefully move it up a notch. This track is not on the album but has been released as a bonus for fans, and it is a cover of the Sugababes hit. Shayne does a stripped back version that showcases his rather wonderful voice.

What have I seen at the theatre lately?

Nothing !

However, I have been catching up on taped TV stuff … current favourites are Empire (about an American black music company, and one of the patriarch’s 3 sons is a gay, with a gorgeous boyfriend). The Walking Dead (who doesn’t love zombies?), The Good Wife, Sons Of Liberty (a sexed up historical drama about the American revolution), Glee (it’s final very nostalgic season), Downton Abbey and Sleepy Hollow (how does he get his skin to look so amazing?).
