In this show, we enjoy the end of daylight saving time, the extra hour of sleep, the change of seasons and the change of smoke alarm batteries…

We compare the current favourable portrayal of most gay characters on TV and the seemingly slow uptake in mainstream cinema releases, and then talk about 2 serious film stars who challenged the industry.

We reflect upon the unfavourable treatment in the US of the 1990s of haemophiliac Ryan White who contracted HIV from a blood transfusion. We also talk about Janis Ian – and her short career as a pop singer, but a more successful life as a writer of science-fiction and as a proud lesbian.

We end by talking about the sad events of the first-recorded event of deaths-by-misadventure, due to events linked to OCD hoarding.
