The VYJC Victorian Youth collect for Jazz!

Members of The Victorian Youth Jazz Collective visited the Bent Notes studio to chat about their first appearance coming up at the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues, and their experiences during the year as part of the VYJC, including their recording of their first album – HARDWARE HUNTERS.

Led by Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist and conductor James Mustafa, the VYJC  provides opportunity for young jazz and contemporary musicians to further their skills and passion for improvisation and ensemble music.

Hear what James, Ben, Alex and Cam had to say in this JOYcast from JOY 94.9
