Then This Schauble with Puxination! and a 4-track

Hop On, Now Then, So Here, and What Now are just a few of the titles from the new release digital album from the THEN THIS Project.  A quirky set of track names for what is a very enjoyable, and maybe just a little quirky,  album.

THEN THIS is a quartet of amazing Melbourne based musicians – Drummer and composer Niko Schauble, Saxophonist Mirko Guerrini, Guitarist Stephen Magnusson and Saxophonist Tony Hicks getting together to perform music composed by Niko.

Hear Niko chatting with David Moyle in this podcast from Bent Notes, talking about his career as a recording engineer starting with a 4-track recorder, a new project for his PUGHOUSE recording studio called PUXINATION! and the release of the debut album of THEN THIS.

Puxination is an opportunity to submit your fun original song that encourages people to get vaccinated, and to win a recording sessions for your song at the Pughouse Studios.

The debut album for THEN THIS – Live At The PFSMF (Port Fairy Spring Music Festival), recorded for the festival in November 2020, is available on Bandcamp.

Niko Schauble was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday August 1, 2021
