Gregg Arthur joined David Moyle on Bent Notes to chat about his albums produced during COVID lockdowns – Jazz and Cocktails (2020) and The Ballad Collection (2021); Dame Joan Sutherland, Painting and lots more!
Production of these beautiful albums was helped along the way by the time created by lockdown and the recordings that Gregg had available but not yet assembled into new albums. The albums include a number of pieces composed by Gregg, with more details available from his Bandcamp page.
Gregg talks about his early experiences in the chorus with the Australian Opera whilst Dame Joan Sutherland commanded the stage, and acting lessons with Hayes Gordon (whilst still in costume).
Gregg Arthur was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday February 13, 2022
