Andy Sugg spoke about his classical Saxophone education, playing Punk the same day as Avante Garde classical, and the music of Michael Brecker – one of the world’s great saxophonists who won 15 Grammy Awards during his career.
Andy also spoke about his book “The Influence of John Coltrane on Improvising Saxophonists” and his upoming gig at Bird’s Basement where he and John Mackey will present the music of Michael Brecker.
