Drummer Rod Gilbert from The Shuffle Club spoke about bringing enjoyment and happiness through a gig in a country town that had suffered so much through fire, COVID and floods; and getting the band on-stage at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival to celebrate being together for 21 years.
The Shuffle Club focus on music of the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s – but with their own interpretation – a focus that looks to provide the audience a fun and entertaining time.
