Melbourne post-rock Jazz band Soft Power, led by Melbourne based guitarist and composer Matthew Roche, have recently released their 2nd album entitled “Easy Listening” featuring two new members of the band – Oscar Neyland and Chris Cameron.
Using Meditation as inspiration, Matthew started writing songs to explore self-growth and personal vulnerability with compositions which are written with space for development by the members of the band.
Matthew grew to love Jazz when at uni and loves the ‘layers’ which are created.

Matthew Roche was guest on Bent Notes on Sunday April 15, 2018.
