Journalist and Photographer Roger Mitchell has been taking photos of the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues for over 10 years – photographs which have featured often in his blog – ausjazz.net.
His collection is a superb repository of memories from the festivals which he has curated into a segment of this year’s digital 30th Anniversary festival as a retrospective of the festival through his photo collection.
The narrated presentation – Stills in Motion – sets his images to jazz as Roger works his way through the years.
Hear the extended interview with Roger in this Podcast from Bent Notes, including discussion of Roger’s bee-keeping hobby.
Roger Mitchell was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday October 25, 2020
