With horsemeat DNA being discovered in burgers in the UK this week, its time to ask the question? What is our opposition to eating something that is eaten all around the world? Are we emotionally attached to animals? We will chat to a couple of folks that have eaten horse abroad, and perhaps chat to a chef who a few years ago copped death threats for wanting to serve it. We will also speak to Paddy McHugh who farms camel meat for human consumption – another controversial meat. What if these meats could have an effect on global poverty? Would they be acceptable then?
