This week we are super lucky to be joined by the awesome boys from TRIPOD! Scod, Yon and Gatesy come into the studio and spend the entire show with us, starting with the news of the week as always (Game convention controversy in the US! Zelda Wii U delayed! Rare’s upcoming title!), discussing their consistent love of video games throughout their careers and talking all about their upcoming collaboration with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra: ‘This Gaming Life’.

We talk about how the show came to be, the process in working with someone as talented as Austin Wintory (award winning composer from Journey and The Banner Saga), and what it’s like to translate your passion into an orchestral comedy spectacular! The boys even sing a couple of their songs acoustically for us (and assure everybody that the songs will sound even MORE amazing with the orchestra behind them!).
