“I want kids in rainbow families – like mine – to see a family with two mums.” Jac Tomlins
Jac joins Family Matters to share the story behind her new story, The Curse of Grandma Maple!
Jac Tomlins is a researcher, trainer and advocate for rainbow families. She is the writer of resources that help prospective rainbow families set themselves up for success. But this latest project is just for the kids.
The Curse of Grandma Maple! is aimed for kids aged 8 to 12. It is not a story about having two mums or being a rainbow family. It’s a story about a bunch of kids who leave the adults behind and head off to test themselves against the Canadian wilderness. Some of the kids just happen to have two mums.
One reviewer has already called it – “An intriguing mystery and funny as well” (that reviewer might be one of Jac’s delightful kids)
