Molly Carlile has an extensive clinical background in specialist palliative care nursing, counselling and education. As a leader in her field, Molly has held a variety of regional, state and national positions in the healthcare sector. She is a Member of the Order of Australia and the recipient of many other awards including the Ministers Award for Outstanding achievement by and individual or team in healthcare, she is a Churchill Fellow and a National Ambassador for Dying to Know Day.

On the 8th of August the 4th Dying to Know Day, a national annual day of action dedicated to bringing to life conversations and community action around death and dying will be recognized here in Melbourne and across Australia with a series of events.

At Family Matters we are hoping to lay the platitudes and clichés to rest by having a frank discussion about end of life care, and then death care. Join the team with this ‘Dying To Tell’ podcast series as we ask all those difficult questions to medical and legal experts as well funeral industry professionals.
