At Family Matters we are hoping to lay the platitudes and clichés to rest by having a frank discussion about end of life care, and then death care. Join the team with this ‘Dying To Tell’ podcast series as we ask all those difficult questions to medical and legal experts as well funeral industry professionals.
This episode includes information on how to prepare kids for attending their first funeral.
We also feature a sample of three interviews from the Dying To Know series with:
- Jessie William the Executive director of The Groundswell Project & Hellen Callanan a Doula and founder of Preparing the Way
- Advance Care Planning with Claire McNamara, Senior Legal Officer from Office of the Public Advocate
- Molly Carlile aka The Death Talker, National Ambassador for Dying to Know Day
In conjunction with Dying to Know Day, on 8th August, an annual day of action dedicated to bringing to life conversations and community actions around death, dying and bereavement here at Family Matters we are Dying to Tell.
