Life has been traumatic for Sue, from having to sing, solo, Baa Baa Black Sheep at a school assembly when she was in Grade 6, to having a cricket somewhere in her car’s dashboard this week.
It’s been traumatic for David too. But he did as he was told and manned up for his flu shot. Ooh brave David!
In the studio, Rani Pramesti is talking about the Next Wave Festival. She will be performing in Sedih//Sunno a work based on a very different traumatic event in her mother’s childhood. May 5-15 at the Arts House in North Melbourne.
Sue wants animal songs in the last hour on account of her cricket and potential cricket babies. Sue, crickets are insects! Geoffrey is on the money when he suggests La Cucaracha. Thankfully, David doesn’t oblige. Whew!
