Christa Hughes is OZ ROCKIN’ THE LADIES LOUNGE

Singing sensation and Ladies’ Lounge lizard, Christa Hughes proudly returns to the Arts Centre Melbourne with Oz Rockin’ The Ladies Lounge for its Victorian debut.

No stranger to rock ‘n’ roll, Christa (aka KK Juggy from Machine Gun Fellatio) takes the stage to salute some of Australia’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll artists and their songs. In true Hughes style, each song will be reinterpreted with her own peculiar twist. She’ll keep you guessing as she performs some classics across the Oz rock spectrum from AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Divinyls, Nick Cave, The Angels, Warumpi Band, Skyhooks and some other much loved iconic Australian artists. Watch out for a few surprises!

With Christa’s innate sense of irreverent theatricality, sheer vocal power and passion for 1920s jazz, blues and vaudeville, this promises to be a wild night out of music and entertainment. Here’s one lady who won’t be confined to the Ladies’ Lounge!
