Welcome to Game On! JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

Chris Wells, President of the Melbourne Rovers, an inclusive soccer club shares exciting news about the Club’s involvement with A-Leagues club Melbourne Victory as part of the annual Pride Cup now in its third consecutive year. Melbourne Victory is a club for everyone who calls Melbourne home no matter your sexual orientation, gender, ability, or faith – the game of football should be a place where everyone is celebrated and feels included. That’s the message behind the Pride Cup as part of the league wide Pride Celebration. You can catch all the action this Saturday 29 March at AAMI Park for the double header between Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United! (Starts 2 minutes 12secs)

Adam Trapksi, Founder of 3 Hearts Motorsport joins the show to encourage us to get involved with motorsport sharing his journey with a call out for JOYsters interested in being part The Rainbow Shoelace Project BMW! Zander Murray, the first male Scottish senior player to come out as gay, is on the line from Bonnie Scotland talking about coming out and accepting yourself, being a top goal scorer (100 goals!), having his jersey in the Scottish Football Museum, his documentary Out on the Pitch and Dare To Defy, his advocacy work paving the way for others in the world game, and his involvement with the A-Leagues Pride Cup – Original Rivalry game on this Saturday 29 March at AAMI Park.
