Welcome to Game On JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

We welcome Beau Newell, National Program Manager Pride In Sport, to Game On with an insightful update on what is happening in Rainbow sport globally and also across Australia as part of the exciting inaugural Pride In Sport Festival. (Starts 2 minutes 30 seconds)

We chat competitive pinball with Lita Neptune – one of the awesome hosts of Joy 94.9’s Geeks OUT and learn all about this fantastic sport! Lita will be heading to Brisbane to compete in the Brisbane Pinball and Arcade Collective 2025 The Clubhouse July 16-20 – the 10^th Annual Brisbane Pinball Masters! (Starts 12 minutes)

And we are joined in the JOY Sport Studio by Marina Jansen, Melbourne Frontrunners member, and Dr Ruth McNair – an expert in lesbian and bisexuals women’s health – to hear about the Melbourne Frontrunners Queer Women’s Health Night sponsored by Thorne Harbour Health on Tuesday April 8 in Abbotsford. We discuss health across a lifetime – in  each decade, recommended interventions and current research into women’s health. (Starts 22 minutes 15 seconds)
