Welcome to Game On JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

First we chat with inspiring athlete, advocate, and changemaker — Julie Charlton. Julie is a Paralympian, 2022 Commonwealth Games shot finalist, accessibility champion, and tireless voice for inclusion in sport. And she has been named official Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT Rolling Rainbow Sports Day Ambassador for 2025 joining Game On to tell us how you can get involved in this fantastic event on the 21st September designed to ensure wheelchair sport is welcoming and inclusive for the LGBTIQA+ community. Olympic Gold Medallist Ellia Green joins the show to chat about being a champion, having the courage to be your authentic self after making his transition public in 2022 a decision he says is the best decision of his life, finding a renewed passion for rugby with grassroots club the Sydney Convicts, and sharing a topic close to his heart – human trafficking in Fiji. Two thirds of Australians actively collect toys and Supercars legend Craig Lowndes is leading the charge of “kidult” collectors, partnering with Mattel for the official launch of their unique car product collection. A great way to be sporty and relax at the same time! Craig is getting in on the fun, using the new collectible brick set to build and customise his dream car – a 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Craig also shares tips on how to have the mindset of a champion having won Bathurst 1000 seven times, inclusion in motorsports and how to stay safe on our roads! (Starts 30:33)
