Welcome to Game On JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

The Rolling Rainbow Sports Day is on again for the third time – Sunday 21 September from 10-2pm at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation in Narrabeen. This annual and inclusive day of adaptive sports is run by Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT and Julie Charlton OAM is here to tell us all about it! Julie is a Para-athlete, coach, advocate, and community leader and Ambassador for the 2025 Rolling Rainbow Sports Day, a celebration of wheelchair sport and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. (Starts 2:44)

The stage is set for Friday night’s blockbuster Preliminary Final between Geelong and Hawthorn at the MCG. It is set to be the Cats 14th Preliminary Final in the last 19 years and they ae looking to convert that into their seventh Grand Final appearance across that span. Of course there will be a banner! We chat with Gabb from Geelong Cats Pride and the Geelong Cheer squad about the plans for the night and why you should join in at a game across the remainder of the AFLW season. (Starts 10:18)

The Pride Football Australia tournament 2025 is coming to Melbourne celebrating LGBTIQA+ inclusion in football. It’s at an iconic venue – The Home of the Matildas in Bundoora and Stuart Bonner, Melbourne Rovers Committee member and Greg Camm, Melbourne Rovers Committee are live in the JOY Sport Studio to share why this event is so special and how you can get involved!
