We start the show with an update of what is happening in inclusive sporting news!

We speak with a trailblazer in Australian horse racing — jockey Tyler Leslight. Tyler made headlines as Australia’s first openly transgender jockey, and his courage and authenticity have inspired many both within and beyond the racing world. Tyler is a participant in the Racing with Pride series, an initiative from Racing Queensland celebrating inclusion and diversity in the sport and joins us to talk about his journey, the racing community, and what it means to live authentically in the saddle. Then it’s time to talk basketball with the new Melbourne Spectres President Connor Wilson live in the JOY Sport Studio. The Melbourne Spectres is Melbourne’s LGBTIQ+ and Allies Basketball Club with clubs based in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. We find out what the Melbourne crew is up to which includes heading to the Gay Games 2026 in Valencia, Spain! Connor shares the incredible connection the club has with Melbourne United, one of the biggest professional basketball teams in the country. (Starts 23mins)
