Welcome to Game On JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport live every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!

We kick off the show with inclusive sporting news! In tennis news, Switzerland’s Mika Brunold has come out as gay with a in a heartfelt Instagram post being second male professional tennis player to come out publicly in the last year. And in football news, Sam Kerr returned for the Matildas on Australian soil for the first time in two years with a 2-0 win over New Zealand. (Starts 3:30)

In awesome Emerald City Kickball sporting news, for the first time ever Kickball will be part of the Gay Games in Perth in 2030! Nathan Lithgow Stakeholder Manager and Chris Pangalos, Director of Marketing and Communications from Emerald City Kickball – Melbourne join the show in the JOY 94.9 Studio to talk community, connecting and having fun through inclusive sport! We are then joined by another dynamic duo taking over the Joy 94.9 airwaves between 6-7pm starting from next week over the summer grid– Chris and Brendan Maher – hosts of a new show called GayFL – a dedicated AFL/AFLW show. If you love your footy you are bound to love GayFL! (Starts 26:30)

And we celebrate celebrating pride in the WBBL with two pride matches between the Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Renegades with a call out for a pride round. (Starts 38:54)
