IN MY SHOES: Multicultural young people who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex or queer (GLBTIQ) face additional challenges to openly come out in their communities, due to a lack of awareness and understanding. This led to the initiation of Animate Change – a Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) project aimed at providing GLBTIQ multicultural young people with a safe place to express themselves. The Animate Change Project Officer, Yohana Jury joins us in the studio.
