Handclaps & Harmonies Week 2 – Sunday 14 July

My Music Pick of The Week

My pick of the week for July 14 is Melbourne band, Dancing Heals and their album ‘You Will Never Be Younger Than You Are Now.’ The album is really great and has an awesome bunch of indie goodness. They’ve got a really great mix of lo-fi sing along tracks, standard indie rock and angsty songs about love and loss. The song I played from the album was called ‘Always On My Mind,’ check it out on SoundCloud. It’s got a great melody and I could totally picture this as a track on an indie movie soundtrack, you know the song that runs over the credits that is supposed to sum up the whole thing and has you humming along and desperately Googling after you leave the cinema.
