In this episode 5 we celebrate how JOY Radio has provided a platform for our voices and points of view and how this is an integral part of the push towards protections of our human rights and changes in the law. We speak with Nick Henderson from the Australian Queer Archives (AQuA) about how we evolved from “Gay and Lesbian” to LGBTIQA+ by embracing our diversity. Hear some archive audio of voices of the past, especially when positively speaking about expressing our sexuality.
