Guess who has been recognised at the 2018 Victorian Legal Awards?

Jacq and Dene celebrate with Kris from KHQ Lawyers after she recently won the Accredited Specialist of the Year at the 14th Victorian Legal Awards.

Kris talks about how she became a specialist in family law and about her passion for issues specific to LGBTI legal rights.

She also describes some of her experiences of LGBT discrimination in her career, and how she avoided becoming “that gay lawyer”.
