Fitted for Work helps women in Australia to become work ready, gain secure employment, and experience success in their careers. With job-readiness services provided to assist women with practical skills, knowledge, self-esteem, and know-how so that they can move forward with confidence in their careers.
Just yesterday, at the Victorian Pride Centre, where Minister for Employment Ben Carroll announced a $340,000 funding package to help LGBTIQA+ people access job-readiness programs, which included:
$285,300 dollars for Fitted for Work to deliver Project Purple, which will assist 100 transgender, non-binary and gender diverse Victorians to access employment opportunities, a further $54,800 from this funding is for the Pride Centre, to help LGBTIQ+ jobseekers connect with Jobs Victoria Partners and other employment service providers.
