BENDIGO

SATURDAY AT 9 AM – 4:30 PM Volunteer Induction day – Thorne Harbour Country 58

Mundy St, Bendigo VIC 3550, Australia

Food supplied for lunch and breaks

New and existing volunteers are invited to attend the upcoming Thorne Harbour volunteer induction

This induction is for any volunteer who assists at our events or is looking to take on a more formal role, such as our volunteer receptionist at our Mundy St office.

This training will provide an overview of the history of the organisation and more specifically the operations of Thorne Harbour Country. We will also include HIV 101 and Trans and gender diverse sensitivity and awareness components. Other important elements are volunteering fundamentals which includes information about boundaries, confidentiality and privacy.
We wrap up the day hearing from a positive speaker who talks about their own lived experience of being a person living with HIV.

It’s a great day and we always aim to make it fun and interactive. It’s also a great chance to get to know fellow volunteers.

To ensure the induction can proceed we need to confirm participant numbers.
To register, please complete this form:
