On Wear It Purple Day, the Australian Sports Museum in collaboration with Proud 2 Play will feature stories of LGBTQ+ trailblazers as they launch their Pride Showcase.
At a time when people are still asking where are the LGBTQ+ players in certain sports, the Australian Sports Museaum are sharing the stories of Australian athletes, who have led the way in their chosen sporting fields and have been changing the game for years, including Ian Roberts, Ellia Green, Sally Shipard, Ricki Coughlan, Josh Cavallo and the Adelaide Armpits, who led the way in queer women’s soccer in Australia.
Kade Matthews from Proud 2 Play joined Rach & Dean to tell them all about it.
