Over the last 12 months, VICSES volunteers received over 33,000 requests for assistance.The volunteers broad skill sets have been tested, responding to more than 16,000 calls for downed trees, more than 3000 floods, 1600 road rescues and almost 500 technical rescues.
The importance of volunteering is not lost on us so today, May 22nd is WOW day, which stands for Wear Orange Wednesday and we are joined in the studio by 3 wonderful SES Victoria Volunteers
