Dolly Parton on JOY Drive

Arts, TV & Film, Uncategorized

Dolly Parton is one of the world’s most prolific contemporary songwriters, one of the most respected musical artists, a friend and ally to the LGBTIQA+ community, Grammy Award Winner, Academy Award Winner, a major financial backer of the team searching for the COVID-19 vaccine in the US and the woman that might just single handedly save Christmas 2020. #dollysaveschristmas

JOY Drive’s Dee Mason caught up with Dolly via the magic of zoom recently.
They chat about her new book Songteller: My Life in Lyrics, a collection of lyrics and the stories behind them. She also stars in and has written the original music for the new Netflix special Christmas on the Square –  and has released a new Christmas album called A Holly Dolly Christmas.
