Dementia risk among Transgender and Non-Binary adults

Gender diverse people have traditionally been excluded in health research. This study heralds a new wave of inclusive research which aims to provide insight into health disparities impacting gender diverse groups. Dr Brooke Brady’s study is the first globally to explore the dementia risk among transgender and non-binary adults.

Guest: Dr Brooke Brady is an ARC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, an Associate Investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research, and a Conjoint Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Neuroscience Research Australia.
