Last week the Federal Government flip-flopped on its initial pledge to include questions regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, and variations in sex characteristics within the 2026 Census.
What followed was anger and outrage this indecision caused amongst our community – essentially rendering the LGBTQIA+ community invisible within today’s Australian society.
