New Research: Reflective surfaces, like sand, can increase your sun exposure.

As summer heats up, it’s time to talk about sun safety and why it’s so important to protect ourselves from harmful UV rays.

Joining us in this episode is Dr. Sean Hewson, a scientist from the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, or ARPANSA.

Dr. Hewson has been conducting fascinating research on how reflective surfaces, like sand, can increase your sun exposure.

Presenter: Warren Andrew.
