Dr Lisa Harrison: Doomscrolling

We have all been there… a quick check of the news before bed turns into an hours-long rabbit hole of scrolling through distressing headlines. One article leads to another, and suddenly, it is late at night, your mind is racing, and sleep feels impossible. But in a world where staying informed is crucial, how do we strike the right balance? How can we engage with important news without it damaging our mental health?

Guest: Dr Lisa Harrison, Lecturer in Digital Communications at Flinders University

Presenter: Warren Andrew
