The red and yellow flags have always meant safety and now they also stand for inclusion. Ingrid Magtengaard, Secretary of St Kilda Life Saving Club and committee member for Life Saving Victoria’s Diversity and Inclusion team, shares how Lifesavers With Pride is helping surf clubs become safer and more welcoming for LGBTQIA+ members and allies. She also talks about new partnerships, community programs, and how you can get involved, whether that’s learning CPR, joining a patrol, or marching with a rainbow surfboat at Midsumma.
