The mental health of trans, non-binary and gender-diverse Australians has long been a concern, but new research has revealed just how much the gap has widened over the past two decades.

While society has made strides in LGBTQIA+ rights, the reality is that discrimination, stigma and barriers to healthcare continue to take a toll.
