Slovenia decides
Slovenia began its Eurovision campaign all the way back last year with Misija Evrovizija, where hundreds of contestants were gradually whittled down to three: Eva Boto and the twins Eva & Nika Prusnik. This morning (or Sunday night in Slovenia) Eva and the twins dueled it out to see who would get the honour of representing the only country with Love in it. After performing 3 songs each (one of which was Konichiwa, which contained the infamous lyric “Don’t Tell Jesus Christ, We Were in Paradise”), the eventual winner was Eva Boto with the power ballad Verjamem.

RTVSLO really put on a great show of which presenter Klemen Slakonja did an amazing job keeping it moving, making the wait for results extremely entertaining.
