EuroSongCountdown talks with Daniel Burt

Interviews, Uncategorized

Daniel Burt knows a thing or two about the media, popular culture and much else of the razzle dazle which surrounds us on various platforms.

He’s written for some pretty spiffy Australian TV shows – The Glass House, The Einstein Factor & The Project – as well as spending an eye-opening time as an intern on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Daniel is also a keen observer of one of the world’s biggest annual media events – the Eurovision Song Contest.

Daniel is our kind of guy.

He is currently looking askance at the world at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in his show “Inspired By Mediocrity”.

“Daniel is a recovering perfectionist. He believes that if you can’t do it well, then it’s not worth doing. Which often means it doesn’t get done.”

So says the pithy and accurate bill matter.

And it was pretty pithy, somewhat accurate and hugely enjoyable when Hikki & AJ caught up with Daniel Burt.
