Eurovision History Chat: 1995
17 years and one day ago, something amazing happened at Eurovision.
1995 marked the 40th Eurovision Song Contest.
This significant event was commemorated by a 4 minute montage at the beginning of the show and then never mentioned again.
Instead, the contest was taken to a whole other level which has yet to be repeated again.
If 1963 was the year when Eurovision embraced the creativity of television, then 1995 was the year that Eurovision embraced the creativity of the stage.
Andy & Hikaru discuss what could be one of the most quietly and understated revolutionary Eurovision Song Contests so far.
Eurovision History Chat: 1995.
