They’re back – Ireland decides & it’s Jedward again
RTE’s “Late, Late Show”, the world’s longest-running chat show, went musical on Friday February 24th and chose Ireland’s entry for ESC 2012.
And the boys are back for Baku.
Jedward won the selection with “Waterline” through a combination of public and regional jury vote.

The somewhat manic twin brothers, AKA John Paul Henry Daniel Richard Grimes & Edward Peter Anthony Kevin Patrick Grimes, represented Ireland last year and came 8th.
It must be said that budget cuts at RTE appear to have reduced the Irish selection to a shadow of its former self when it was the National Song Contest.
And hear Hikki & AJ discuss the ups and downs of Ireland at Eurovision in this JoyEurovision history chat.
