Dan Ducrou is a talented delight.
He joins us to talk about his role in the Fitzroy Aboriginal History Project that was launched in Melbourne’s inner suburbs on Saturday 20 April. The innovative project will take the form of a website and a smartphone app.
Dan also gives us insights into his prickly, sex, drug and surfing-fuelled book The Byron Journals, launched at the Byron Bay Writer’s Festival in 2009; he also let’s us in on the themes of his new novel, one that he describes as biographical in tone and exploring notions of Australian masculinity.
