Amanda Marx was once a husband, happily married to a wife with a ‘couple of bambini’. She’s now separated, but the kids remain and that love and longing still lingers.
A painter, writer and spoken word artist, Amanda offers us insights into her search for acceptance, fulfillment and love in her transition from identifying as a man to a person who now identifies as a woman.
In this episode we also get a special reading of Amanda Marx’s piece ‘One Beautiful Day’, which has just been shortlisted for the Ada Cambridge Biographical Prose Prize.
NOTE: Amanda’s spoken word piece has a couple of colorful words; ‘rainbow’ is not one of them.
