Somehow Part 2 of the 2018 Radiothon show is even funnier than Part 1. Katie and her guests – author and cartoonist Kaz Cooke, Miss Chat podcaster and long-time JOY volunteer Daniel Kilby, and Miss Chat phone-support person Brett Kappler – share a lot of laughs as they talk about what they were like when they were 25 (in honour of JOY’s ’25 Years Proud’ Radiothon slogan), and what it was like for LGBTIQ people when JOY started in 1997. The phrase ‘ludicrous poltroon’ may or may not have been uttered. Here is the playlist:
- Hit the Ground Running – Newton Faulkner
- Thank You for Loving Me at My Worst – The Whitlams
- In a While – Miller
- Don’t Stop the Music – Jamie Cullum
- Brothers in Arms – Dire Straits

Here is the unseemly tweet Kaz Cooke posted for our prize-winner Little Jason!
Little Jason of Ivanhoe is a renaissance man of unseemingly proportions, with a coruscating wit & the singing voice of an unfeasibly handsome lark. @JOY949 radiothon winner for @MissChatJOY
