Kerryn Fields and Maxon – Show #92 (part 2), 6 January 2019

Music

Katie’s guests in the second hour are local singer-songwriters Maxon and Kerryn Fields. Maxon’s song ‘No Impersonator’ was no.4 on Katie’s Best Songs of 2017, and she has a great new single out called ‘History’. NZ-born Kerryn is well known to JOY audiences; she and Maxon have been friends for a while and co-wrote a song in 2017 called Running from You. They chat to Katie about making connections and working together, and Kerryn plays a brand-new song live in the studio. Here is the playlist:

  • Mirror Ball – Luke Tooze
  • No Impersonator – Maxon
  • Fall in Love with Me – Belle Miners
  • Lips So Sweet – Kerryn Fields
  • Rising Sun – Nathan Cavaleri
  • Canadian Folk Music – Kerryn Fields (live in the studio)
  • History – Maxon
  • Closer – Alana Wilkinson

Visit Maxon’s official website and follow her on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
