Charm of Finches – Show #144 (part 2), 15 March 2020

Music

Melbourne sister duo Charm of Finches return to the show for their third visit to talk about their recently released album, Your Company, and touring to promote it (including an appearance at the Nannup Music Festival in WA), the effects COVID-19 is having on live performances, and doing shows with Anna Cordell and Amanda Palmer; and they deliver beautiful performances of two songs from the album. Katie also plays a bunch of fabulous new tracks by other female-identifying artists. Here is the playlist:

  • Trams – Rachel Caddy
  • Her Quiet Footsteps – Charm of Finches
  • She Knows – Hollie Col
  • Fish in the Sea – Charm of Finches (live in the studio)
  • Ahead of Your Game – Anna Cordell
  • Black Smoke – Amanda Palmer with Clare Bowditch
  • Where Do the Ducks Go? – Charm of Finches (live in the studio)
  • Fresh Out of Love – E^ST
  • Outcast – Elsy Wameyo

Visit Charm of Finches’ official website and follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

You can buy Amanda Palmer’s bushfire charity album at Bandcamp – all proceeds go to Firesticks Alliance, an Indigenous-led network reinvigorating and teaching cultural land burning and management.
